We are excited to announce that Mina Estrada, Amiti Perry, Stacey Decknick and drummer/composer Mike Boyko will be collaborating with CoCo Loupe Dances on a new, evening-length work for the Orlando Fringe Festival 2019.

We will be premiering “From One Foot to the Other” in the Pink Venue (Mandell Studio Theatre at the Lowndes Shakespeare Theater Complex) on the following dates:

Tuesday, May 21st 6:00 PM
Thursday, May 23rd 5:30 PM
Saturday, May 25th 1:30 PM
Sunday, May 26th 11:15 AM

The work features brand new, freshly-treaded choreographies, improvisational sequences, lip-syncing, and live drumming together with a wild and gorgeous group of community dancers who serve as a moving chorus. All of this has been created via a combination of long-distance video conferencing, local, living-room rehearsals, community group studio practices  and collaborative, idea-slinging processes.

This entire project has its meaning wrapped up in and coming from meeting, making and maneuvering shifts in presence via absence and vice versa.

“From One Foot to the Other”
